Major General (res) Ilan Biran
Chairman
Mr. Biran has a vast experience in management positions in fields such as communication, medical, military defense and financial. Mr. Biran has a successful 3 decade track record of leading companies in variety of their life cycle stages.
Mr. Biran served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of numerous companies including Rafael - Advanced Defense Systems Ltd. and YES Cable Television. He has served as the CEO of Bezeq – The Israel Communications Company Ltd.
Mr. Biran served in the Israel Defense Forces for 32 years in various staff and command positions, including Director General of Israeli Ministry of Defense, Commanding General, Head of the Technology and Logistics Branch and Head of the Operations Division at the General Staff.
Mr. Biran graduate from Bar Ilan University and holds a degree as a Research Fellow in Strategies and Political Economics from Georgetown University. In 2013, Mr. Biran received an Honorary Ph.D. from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology, for his role as a pillar of the Israeli defense establishment and for his contribution to its R&D.

Mr. Biran is the Chairman of Melodea Ltd., Plasan Sasa Ltd. and Tortec Ltd. He is the Director of Israel Discount Bank Ltd., Itamar Medical Ltd. and Israel Shipyards Ltd.

  
Mr. Tord Gustafsson

Mr. Gustafsson is an expert in the composite industry with more than 25 years of experience in developing both new materials, production methods as well as their application. Together with colleagues he developed the Swedish composite industry into being one of the best in the world. He is an innovative industrialist that received twice the JEC award (2004 and 2010) for important developments for the composite Industry. He is owner and R&D manager of BLATRADEN AB, Pitea Sweden. He holds an MSc degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Lund, Sweden.

Prof. Oded Shoseyov
Prof. Oded Shoseyov

Prof. Shoseyov is a faculty member at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He has extensive experience with cellulose area and protein engineering, and has close to 160 publications and 45 patents. Prof. Shoseyov received the Outstanding Scientist Polak Award for 2002, he was awarded twice the Hebrew University of Jerusalem Kaye Award for Innovative and Applied Research (1999 and 2009) and by 2012 he was awarded the Israeli Prime Minister Prize for Entrepreneurship and Innovation. He is the founder and Co-founderof ten companies in the field of Plant Biotechnology, Nano-materials and Cleantech, that launched successful technologies and products. He holds a PhD from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel.






Dr. Ola Schultz-Eklund
Dr. Ola Schultz-Eklund

Dr. Ola Schultz-Eklund started his career with STFI AB (today Inventia AB) and continued with research at STFI and studies at the RIT which resulted in a Technical Licentiate Degree (PhD). Ola worked as Development Manager for Stora AB(Enso), Mill Director at MoDo Paper’s Husum Mill and was appointed Managing Director of Holmen Paper’s Wargön Mill in 1998 and member of the Board of Directors for Holmen Paper AB. Additionally, Ola was instrumental in the turn-around of Iggesund Paperboard Ltd.

Ola is also President of the Confederation of Paper industries, CPI of Great Britain.

 Dr. Ido Braslavsky
Prof. Ido Braslavsky
Faculty member of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
Prof. Braslavsky is a physicist with expertise in ice physics, biophysics, with a particular interest in control of ice growth with ice binding agents. Prof. Braslavsky holds a PhD in Physics from the Technion Institute of Technology, and was a postdoctoral fellow in the Weizmann Institute of Science and at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). He consulted to Helicos Biosciences that developed a single molecule DNA sequencer based on his work at Caltech. He was a faculty member at the Physics department at Ohio University before he assumed a faculty position at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Prof. Braslavsky awarded a young investigator ERC grant for investigating application of ice binding proteins in cryobiology and received the Krill Prize (2011) for Excellence in Scientific Research.
